The Axv kick off at 2:15pm against Chichester 2’s. As it is a friendly there hopefully should be plenty of opportunities for player to impress.

It has been made know to the Gate Keeper, that a one of our long standing players has got engaged over Christmas – what a fool!

His name will be disclosed once he sees fit to tell everyone, all I can say is that he is a ‘hooker’……………………answers on the back of a post card!

….Saturday 30th December, is the charity game at the club, please come on down and support the event!

Just a quick message to wishing everyone a very merry Christmas and a happy New Year!

Don’t forget to be tucked up in bed nice and early, with a mince pie and a glass of single malt whiskey left by the fire for Father Christmas!

If you are unsure where he is try tracking him here: http://www.noradsanta.org

If you are worried that Father Christmas won’t be able to find where you live, blame these people http://www.houseblinger.com/index.php, obviously they are trying to corner his attention!

Have a great one,

The Gate Keeper

p.s. training starts again on Wednesday 3rd Jan ‘07 – out on the pitch for 7pm sharp.

The game is OFF

Unfortunately, even thought the Dolphin’s and the Mariners don’t have fixtures, we have been unable to secure the players so it appears that we have to cancel only our second game in 4 seasons.

Sincere apologies to Worthing for the short notice…..even I was having to pull my boots on this weekend!

This Saturday (23rd December) sees the Axv travel to Worthing 3’s. We played Worthing back in Oct and won 17 nil, this will not be a walk in the park, we had to work for the game in October and should be a good game.

Timinigs TBC: Meet at Havant – leave 11.45am,  arrive 12.45, out on pitch for 1pm, Kick off at 2pm (all subject to change!) Players to make their availability known to Mike Issitt by Tuesday evening.

….yes we are training on Wednesday evening.

After another cancelled game we ensure that we get maximum attendance at training. Training starts at 7pm, so get changed early.

Any sensible questions about this please let me know?

Unfortunatly Ventnor have cancelled this weeks game due to lack of front row!

Mike I, D.K-S and the fixture Sec have tried to find anther fixture, however it appears that there is none around.

Please can players give their availablity for next weeks game (23rd Dec) as soon as, to Mike please, this is so we can ensure a fixture next week. Gatekeeper

……………………………..

Saturday 16th December sees the Axv entertain Ventnor at the lane. It’s been a while since we played the Islanders, and should be a good game.

Timinigs TBC: Meet at Havant – 12:45pm, out on pitch for 1:15, Kick off at 2:15pm (all subject to change!) Players to make their availability known to Mike Issitt by Wednesday evening.

After a few cancelled games etc, we have a lot to work on, please can you ensure that you try to attend training, and ready to be out on the pitch ready to start a 7pm after a quick meeting.

As mentioned before, there will be a quick meeting in the changing room prior to training. Please can as many of you be in the room changed and ready for 6:40pm.
