A dozen or more regular players unavailable through injury and absence meant we had to field an understrength side to a well drilled trojans side. This underlines the need for us to build some stability at training so as many on wednesday as possible.
Not the best start to the season, but the training turn out is healthy and we are starting to build the squad back up after a large lost through injury and players moving away. Lets start to get the season underway in style. Large turnout to training this wednesday please.
UPDATE – I’ve now seen the comment which its clear was posted by a spam-bot and not one of us! This can occasionally happen if it slips past the spam protection on wordpress. We have had 174 of these and this is the first one to slip through. Let us know if you see any more and we will delete them.
It has been brought to our attention that a recent post on the website contained a link to an inappropriate ’special interest’ web site. Although this might seem quite amusing, it was seen by one of the young lad’s in the juniors so isnt something we can condone or tolerate. Please don’t do it again who ever it was!!!
Unfortunately the club has decided to remove the link to this website from the main site. This is a real shame as we have managed to keep the site pretty clean considering the likes of some of the team!!!
I’m not around this week and not back till next Thurs/Fri so James Hewitt will be taking control of things, can you let him know ( if you haven’t already told me ) if your available. More importantly if you become unavailable later in the week. I’m hoping for a 1pm kick off so you can watch England plat at 3pm or if the 1st team who also are at home and kick off at 3.

Where at home this week, in the 1st league game of the season. Will be looking to put right a few mistakes we’ve made over the last few weeks. Training this week will be with Jock so lets make extra effort to be there. If you haven’t already let me know if your available please do so asap.
