After a major injury crisis, with games having to be cancelled, and cancelled on us we finally got to play. We travelled to Winchester with a side which only came together on friday, but with a good team spirit from the regular guys. Making the new lads feel welcome. We manage dto not only win, but win well. We won 30 – 12, 5 trys to 2. I’d like to thank Stuart, Dave and Mark who stepped up (lol) from the Mariners to help us out majorly, thanks to Dave for bringing Sam with you. I’d like to the new lads, Alex, Dan, Joal and Tom who turned up to help us out. Would like to see you at training on Wed. Also a big thanks to the Master who helped me by contacting all his players and seeing if they wanted a game. Cheers Jon.

This week see’s us taking to the league again. Finally some of the injuries are getting better. I’ve yet have the game confirmed or what time kick off is but as its only Tuesday not too concerned at the moment. Cheers to 99% of the players who have already confirmed that they are available. Still waiting for a couple.
Don’t forget training’s important for everyone if we’re to turn this season around. I know its only early in the season but would like to sort it out before it gets any worse.
Mike.

Due to a major injury list and peolple away ( 25 in total ) we are unable to field a team. I’d like to apologise to Andover. Looking forward to rearranging the fixture.
So as there’s no game we can all go to the club and support the 1st team ( and watch England of course ). We’re meeting about 1pm. See you there.
Mike
As we all know we haven’t won this season yet. Its Andover this week, what week to get our 1st win. We’ll only do this if we start training, not as a team but as a squad. So from this week until Christmas Jock Neil will be training us. This means i want as near as 100% attendance from now until then. He’s going to put in a structure in place which will improve how we play, and mainly our fitness. So i will be there on Wed although injured as i want to know whats going on so when i return from injury ( hopefully soon ) i know whats going on. I would like to see you all there, especially if i haven’t seen you at all yet, or its been a while.
TRANING STARTS AT 7PM, if you want to play touch before get there earlier. TRAING FINISHES AT 9PM
Sat 6th Oct we’re away to Andover. At the moment its a 3pm kick off, most likely won’t be able to change that ( and yes i am fully aware England are playing Australia ) meet will be either 12pm at HRFC or 1.30pm at Andover, to be out on the pitch, ready by 2pm at the latest. If your unavailable i need to know asap.
P.S I’ d like to apologise to everyone about some link that was on here, I personally didn’t see it. Also would like to apologise to Roger Boydell about our website not been updated as often as it should. Unfortunately due to work and other things its been neglected. Hopefully our website will be restored to the clubs main website, as we already feel that we’re not particularly wanted by some areas of the club, if anyone would like to discuss this last comment then I’m at the club on a Wednesday night and most Saturday’s, particularly when the AXV are at home.
Mike
