Sat 9th Home v Trojans – League – Lost 12 – 22

After them winning the 1st league encounter at there place, then us winning a friendly at there place the game no doubt will be close. So we will have to pull our fingers out and produce a performance.

Its a 1 o clock meet, out on the pitch for 1:30pm, kick off 2:30. DON’T BE LATE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Not the best game, we lost due to lack of training together as a team. Hoping to put this right starting  this week, but we’ll see how many we get too training.

Loss v Tottonians

Not sure what the score was so someone remind me but we held them off in the first half despite them mucking up a couple of gifts to score. On the odd occasion we did get the ball moving and attack it was good but we let our heads dip in the 2nd half and the last 20 was not good. Line outs and scrums were utterly dominated by them and its pretty obvious that without set piece platfrom we made it hard for ourselves! Captain mike rightfully gave the team a bit of a b**locking and pointed out that they clearly train a lot together and that shows in the way they play. we all know that social rubgy or not winning is much more fun and often encourages jason to drink his own sick in post match drinks which is always a good show, so like mike says, more presence at training is the answer!

Sat 26th – Tott’s Away – League – Lost

We’ve finally managed to get a game and the opposition want to play it as well. Its a 2:15 kick off, so that means a 12:15 meet at Havant or a 12:45  meet  at Tott’s. Team to follow ( when everyone confirms )

Sat 22nd Portsmouth @ Home-WIN 31 – 5

Well done fellas, it was hard fought win, pompey came to make it difficult for us, they played some good stuff, caught us sleeping to score there try to go 5 – 0 up. We then put our heads down and ground out the win which we deserved.

There’s no training this week. Training will start on Jan 2nd. We have 4 training sesions till we play totts. So everyone to attend training. We need attendence and commitment to be better if we’re to turn this season around.

Well gentlemen, i hope you are all prepared. We will meet at the wine vaults at 7.30. If you are brave or foolish you can start a bit earlier at mikes pub the ship anson in the hard at around 6.00. Tour rules are not confirmed but quite likely!!!

Sat 22nd Portsmouth @ Home

The last game of the year, hopefully it’ll happen, too many times this season so far we’ve not had a game. It’ll be a hard game as its a local derby. So we’ll have to turn up and perform. Going through the motions just won’t be good enough.

As always training’s important. No doubt I’ll see the usual suspects there, lets hope we see a few different faces as well. let me know asap if your available and more importantly if your not.

Sat 15th-Petersfield – League – Home

This week See’s the return leg of our league encounter with Petersfield. Both sides will be looking to go into the Christmas season with a win. So we  will have t turn up and perform, we won’t be able to go through the motions.

For all  those lads that turn up to training week in week out i thank you very much, all those that don’t look and at the league table and you’ll see the results. This shows how important training is. This time last year when we we’re getting almost full attendance to training we we’re top of the league, this year we’re almost bottom. The only people to blame for our situation is ourselves.

Sat 8th – Gosport & Fareham @ Home

Alright fellas, managed to get a game for this week, this could be changed into the league gane that never happened, and if anyone has seen the league we need all the games we can get to try and improve our position. If you haven’t already let me know if your available please do so asap, and if you fancy a laugh come down to training and see a fat bloke trying to run around after how ever many weeks its been since I’ve been able. Jocks around this week so make so its a good turn out.

Well done fellas. Apparently you all played well, and according to a source it was a better side than the one we played in the league. So it goes to show how far we’ve come since then. BUT we still have along way to go. So its 1 game each, looking forward to the league game at our place.

To all the havant players, see you at training even if its raining. Lets make extra effort to make it and be out for 7:00pm

Havant AXV Xmas Drink – 22nd December

Alright fellas, that time of the year has come when we have an excellent excuse to go out and have a few sociable drinks. This year due to us all being busy, there’s no meal just a piss up. I would like as many as possible to attend both players past and present, plus all of our sociable players.

Its at the Wine Vaults on Albert Rd, Sat 22nd December, @ 7:30pm. There will be a dress code, we’ll let you know all in good time. If you have to bring the other half then do so, if you want to bring the other half then do so, me personally won’t be.

Can you let me know if you will be attending and you need somewhere to stay or need a lift, i’ll do my best to help you get sorted.
